At first I thought, "Oh, this must be a gimmick brawl. Once I die, something will happen and the real fight begins". But nope, apparently they are dead serious giving the mage a 4 mana headstart (and the coin, because why the gently caress not?) and a dragon based deck, so your board is up against 4/5 - 4/8s until he plays his Kalcgos or Kazakusan while you have 5 mana and some random rear end spells for 0 mana. Edit: Oh, on game 3 I drew Nozdormu. Cool. Died the next turn, but hey, there's the game plan. Don't bother picking Warlock imho. Game has become a joust of who can gently caress over the other's gameplan better by playing Theotar at this point. It's not even good Trolden poo poo. A completely joyless experience. Decisions don't matter anymore, it's a plinko machine. Nerfing Theotar to give two choices instead of three would be a good start to rein that poo poo in. Or just send it to Wild.

Well, now I feel lovely because I only opened the one signature legendary in my 30 standard packs before they shut it down. Anyhoo, I needed to get three Priest games done, and since I had opened her anyway I grabbed this Infinite Svalna deck from VS and it is just dumb and crazy APM fun. Often I just get concedes immediately once I go to round two by casting one or more discovered Animated Dead. Get one Radiant Elemental into your dead pool, play Svalna as early as possible. Switcheroo and Grave Digging help tutoring her out, the latter synergizes after you played a Spirit Guide on 5 (as it's an Elemental Undead). Then, with the other Radiant Elemental and two Animate Dead in hand, you go quasi infinite on Vision of Darkness casts, fishing for heals and board clears as needed. Yes, please leave my Brann on board and focus your attention on the Mograine I played along Brann on turn 10. Let me just follow up with a Hematurge to get two chances at discovering another Mograine. Oh, there he is. Enjoy 12 face damage at the end of my turns going forward then. Granted, this was a tremendously dumb misplay from my opponent, but Brann + triple Blood Rune with Mograine (and single blood rune Patchwerk ) is  Brann was super icky before, will they keep him in standard for another 4 months? I wish Asphxiate and Death Strike weren't designed so visiually similar to each other. Sure, I could read the card title or text, but naah, let's lifesteal 6 off of that big juicy 10/10 taunt instead of killing it.  Unrelated: This is such a bullshit combo

Funny how people throw fits over Druid while Deathrattle Rogue can have a self-sustaining board of seven 5/4 ghouls on turn 4. Managed that on my first go with the deck and made a Jim Halpert face at the non-existing camera crew. Edit: 2nd game.

 Well, Wild is already broken once the mini-set comes out, pending nerfs to this new Mind Sear card (deal 3 to enemy minion instead of hero or deal 2 damage to enemy only) or Radiant Elemental eating a "don't reduce below (1)" nerf. I guess buffing Test Subject to 3 health would also work. Radiant Elemental, Test Subject, Embalming Ritual and Mind Sear on Test Subject, repeat until enemy hero is dead. Switcheroo Fill with draw and control spells. Absolut best case? Turn 2 lethal. But I doubt you can pull it off before the rope runs out. If you have any heroic bosses that still need defeating, get cracking on the 14th before they nerf the combo. Something like this (+2x Mind Sear of course)?

Yeah, Hearthstone is the only "service" game I have stuck with, and that's because of the actual money I have sunk into it. I have gone free to play except for the tavern pass, which I will phase out as well come next expansion. Probably will stay on until my gold and dust run out, but the high-roll, casino style play and the ramp up of both (almost) inevitable win conditions and the only valid counterplays - stacking or playing against unfun disruptive cards, is slowly but steadily killing the game for me. I quit Overwatch and Apex Legends, I might finally be free shortly.

So we're just gonna ignore whatever the DK(?)card at the end of the trailer is that deals 12 Lifesteal to the enemy hero and summons a board full of 7/8s? Edit: Oh, it's this one. Good thing that spending corpses is super hard. I guess we can count us lucky that the Souls don't have rush.
