Edit: also the supports tighnari wants are mostly fischl or yae, then collei or dendro mc for dendro res/running the dendro shred artifact, and then a flex slot for a shielder, healer, or buffer. He doesnt get much of anything out of xq or xiangling, and bennets about as good as sucrose for him.

So tig, collei, Fischl, diona? Oops all bows again

For those lotus hunters, there's also a dude on the path near the village where you meet tig and collei who will give you 4 of them. I think his name was Amir?

The cave under the capitol and the one that opens up under the sakura shrine after the cleansing questline are the best places to get 'em, just doing a quick patrol every few days. There's a fair few all over the place (sounds like more beetles around than collei mushrooms) but yeah I remember it taking 4+ full respawns before maxing Itto.

After some of the Aloy chat I recalled that her ability makes creatures that produce meat and fowl not run away or attack. Useful for the photo quest in the event, although certainly not essential as you don't need to get that close.

I spent so much time looking around for the entrance to the electro regisvine but in retrospect it's not that hard to find.

Also I still have 120 odd purple books but still need to get tighnari 80-90 and collei is still at 40, they aren't going to last.

Yeah electro is really cool with tighnari but it changes the drops from the mushrooms which sucks. I've been running with ganyu + ayato + kazuha to pop/freeze mushrooms but would like to use tighnari.

By the way the event mushroom battle quests can give you a decent chunk of mushroom materials, if running short.

The second part is why Sayu is usually in my default team

Basically dendro can fit easily in to buff electro, or with an electrocharged team. I've had good success just throwing dendro traveler into a sucrose/XQ/Fischl team, but even then it's not optimised.
Tighnari is great dendro DPS with an off field electro applier like raiden or Fischl or yae

As far as I know you can take the waverider anywhere you can reach on the map. The only problem is that you've spent 30 minutes taking it to say, crab island, logged out for the day, and then mindlessly summoned it to drive around sumeru; now if you want it back in liyue you've got another 30 minute trip. It's fine, so long as you don't abandon it somewhere you can't otherwise easily reach. Or if you managed to somehow destroy it, I suppose.

Also, you can't teleport to the drat thing, so it's not like you could use it for a convenient/free teleport to the geo cube or whatever.

Didn't a Beidou based event or maybe a hangout result in a waverider spawning in Liyue? They really do just need to tack a spawn point in the back of Beidou's ship, that would solve it.

The jellyfish ones are definitely aranara, that's why they're designed so you can't catch up before you get to a chest or another cave entrance or whatever.

The jumpy mushrooms are from jealous eremites who are tasked with escorting those adventurers who don't leave the city. They're so jealous that you get to do fun stuff that they send you on those idiot commissions so you have to waste time writing up a report that says "jumped on some mushrooms. Wish I could tell where I was landing/turn midair more easily. The very edge is not elastic, whoever designed this is an rear end in a top hat." Very petty of them.

The whack-a-mole ones are just mihoyo wanting people to use bows.

There's at least one jellyfish one where I've been able to catch it almost instantly.

Also with the whack a mole, jokes on them, I just plop down a Zhongli pillar or a kokomi jellyfish and do wide AoE attacks

Is there a barrier that blocks newbie access to Sumeru? If not (or if it's just tough enemies), you could always do a trek over the mountains from Liyue to unlock a statue

On a similar note I was surprised to see some 12-13,000 overload numbers the other day when my hyperbloom raiden zapped some pyro infused hilichurls. How closer is that to the upper limit for overload?

I for one would love to see some customised crystallise reactions. For example where the crystallise reaction with pyro instead creates a stationary flame gem thats also a geo construct. Overlaps a bit with bloom, though.
