That was the one where the bridge got blown out from under a clanner too iirc.

Environmental hazards were loving brutal that day. Gotta just imagine the mech ragdolling like an object partially clipped by the terrain and a physics engine that just can't deal with that one.

I'm going to turn around and head towards 1318. No chance of making it, but I should be in a position to intercept the T-bolt. We finish the mission first. On our terms.

But I think we should try and break LoS with the new 'mechs. No trust, I don't think.

This is plot, though, I think. So there's a chance we're meant to either die or be captured during the cutscene.

No reason why we can't make a fight of it though...

I don't recall PTN ever putting his missions on rails, because even with the best of ambushes there's always the :xcom: aspect.

What happened to the battletech smile??

Does the "Colonel Wendigo survives" secondary include the case of punching out? Because I get the feeling the next turn is going to end up with another ammo explosion, even if we happen to pop the other 2 mechs.

There are two "Mobilized locals platoon 2" units, the command names and such are different so I'm guessing it's a typo and not a duplicate, but it'll get confusing!

PTN is bringing out the very deepest cuts here, I don't think I've seen a LAM in any BT actually being used, just mentioned as a weird ancient quirky thing that no one actually uses.

This is really a house field testing prototype units before committing to a large order, isn't it.
