If you weathered the decal more, both with dirty stains and the underlying yellow, it probably wouldn't jump out as clean and bright as it does.

But I think it's fine either way.

Some of that is because of local regulations on what is and isn't allowed (see the Canadian discussions earlier), it's just easier for GW to not have service in those regions than trying to navigate every nation'sc laws.

Also it's 2023, who doesn't have a VPN?

It's really weird because some stuff is still accessible like whatever is in the Black Templar combat patrol or something.

Combat Patrol is free because it's an introductory thing, and the Black Templar are their own thing, although they technically can use the SM codex, they'd lost access to all of the stuff that makes them BT.

Lord Solar is the most cost-efficient way of ordering tanks, which absolutely sucks.

It's just an extra twist of the knife for IG players after getting a good codex just in time for it to be useless.

My LGS has a punch card, you get a punch for every $10 spent, and after 10, you get $10 off (and they stack).

It's not a great discount as far as GW stuff goes, but it applies to everything in the shop.

Also I'd rather give them a little extra so I have an LGS, living in the middle of nowhere like I do.

A lot of artists making stuff for 3d printing do this, but I think it's because they're trying to make their preview images stand out, to make it look like they've put more effort in inscribing details than just called it a day at nicely rounded or flat armour.

I would honestly mind the extra detail less if they say least make things thick enough. Think little swords, spikes, and fingers are just completely useless and either warp or break way too frequently.

I would too, it would give more space for lore-friendly stats. A Sister of Battle should be better at shooting than a Guardsman, but not as good as a Space Marine. Hard to do that when you've only got 6 options for numbers.

This would make the game better. Some other miniatures games treat off board artillery or aircraft as a purchasable ability as opposed to unit. That might work well thematically for 40k. For a certain amount of points you get a strafing run from the aircraft you want, or some fire support for a turn from the Titan. If people want to model the off board artillery/aircraft, that is fine too.

Kill Team Guardsmen get both of those exactly.
