As for what happened, nobody really knows yet. As far as is known, he is dead and he was in a Ukrainian prison; there's a handwritten note circulating around in which he alleges that other prisoners were beating him up and the authorities weren't taking his illness seriously.
Are you sure this was not an American prison?

That's just lazy as poo poo, it's two static talking heads every single time.

I genuinely think that Dilbert used to be pretty funny for a newspaper comic that started in the eighties. Then I read some of his more recent cartoons a while back, and it just wasn't there anymore. Not even necessarily the increasingly prominent 'chud' talking points, the new stuff simply lacks heart and is needlessly meanspirited, like Adams had a significant personality shift over the years.

Is it lucrative, though?

From its Wiki:

In comparison, the CBS Evening News with Norah O'Donnell averaged 4.83 million total viewers for the 2022-'23 TV season; Blue Bloods, the #1 Friday primetime program has 9.54 million viewers.

Last Week Tonight may have a huge number of Emmys, but that doesn't mean it's actually attractive to viewers and therefore advertisers because
Well LWT is on HBO, which has subscribers so it doesn’t rely on advertisers.

It does go on YouTube soon after it airs and I see the recent Boeing one has 4.5 million views. They probably do get some as revenue from YouTube I assume.

Edit: also it’s not prime time or on broadcast tv so I’m not sure comparing those other shows’ ratings is quite fair.
