So I got the Jump app for well spending six months inside and I've devoured Chainsawman, Spy X Family, Jujutsu Kaisen, MHA. Wasn't a huge fan of Neverland after the first arc.

What else is good?

Read both of those. Really dug them though so like, not a bad thought; thanks. And couldn't hurt to reread. I'd forgotten about Black Cat entirely. Most of the archive stuff from the 2000s I'll probably have read or tried. Probably shoulda said. So I guess older than that or fairly new. Is Mashle good? I'm real sick of strong dude beats magic but is it funny enough to try anyway?

Basically, I think it works by taking Zen'in's field of view and anything that doesn't operate at 24fps gets shoved into a frame he can freely manipulate as long as he's touching the target. The first time he uses this wasn't clear because it looks like he grabs Dagon from across the room but I guess he had actually snuck up on it before Nanamin and Maki could attack. So anything shy of a stationary object or an old movie can be imprisoned at will.

The two sisters both group up behind her camera and while it looks like the one is trying to take a picture of volcano head, she could also be taking a selfie. Maybe her ability specifically creates a backup or illusion of anyone photographed so that's how I think they are making it out alive. Maki has to survive as well but I'm worried for Nanamin

Yeah

Also narratively those sisters are too unexplored/interesting to die. Or stay dead anyway

Hypothetical arc ideas. (Arcdeas? No, too forced.):
-Negotiations with the yokai/folk monsters from a different region. Maybe even throw in like a mothman or domovoi or whatnot for the international crowd. Leads to punching.
-Hashihime got added to Doppo's creepy art collection, but Urara & Co. rescue her and sort-of revive her with a pile of money earned through a big scam. Leads to punching.
-Big ol' look inside Doppo's head. Leads to punching.

Unlikely but for foreign youkai.

Also does anyone else feel like JJK has really lost the thread with this recent arc? The death game keeps introducing more and more characters and we end up in a situation like this week's chapter where two characters I have no reason to really care about fight.

Sort of. I've liked most of the fights enough anyway but yeah.

I agree with this but I actually liked late Naruto more than I'm liking late MHA. MHA has this nagging feeling of acknowledging how hosed things are, but also refusing to budge or really do anything with it that makes the whole thing really predictable and trite in a way that Naruto, with all it's betrayals and shifting politics and random double crosses and enemy defections didn't.

Also I liked Moriking, but it was absolutely a manga with an expiration date and it mercifully ended before it ran itself into the ground. Be interested if the author gets another gig to see if they can do something else.
