The Slithery D posted:I just found out I only get 20%. Look up the codes, and if it isn't legit, appeal. If it's as per the code, you can appeal anyway, because sometimes there's previous rulings and poo poo that they overlook that you're entitled to. Sometimes, depending on if you are still in and want desperately to get the gently caress out for example, it can be better to take it and appeal it later.

So I met up with an old friend from Germany and found out that a mutual friend of ours got nailed by CID for purchasing X on the local economy and shipping it back to a friend in the US to distribute. He also sold some locally along with another soldier. She got caught selling to a CID agent and rolled over on him. He's now serving a 25 year sentence in Leavenworth, Kansas.quote:Vilseck-based soldier gets 25 yearsfor distributing 13,000 Ecstasy pills Ell Oh loving Ell The funny thing is he wasn't a bad guy, he just thought he was a bit smarter than the people who were in charge. He also was guilty of buying a lowered, eighth-hand Joe BMW 318i that had to be rescued a couple of times when he high centered it on those gravel pulloffs that were common in Bavaria.

I would expect charges will happen. We have a much stronger secrecy culture in the UK- it may be that there is a court injunction to prevent any more reportage of the case, and a super-injunction to prevent reportage of that injunction or itself.
