Warframe recently came out with a update that allows people to make attack cats as pets, along with the already existing space dogs. I still remember years and years back that game was supposed to be like, Doom 3 levels of impressive tech, and it just... didn't come out. And when it did come out it was just a weird (but good) Krull kinda game, mostly forgettable.

It has a bunch of cool ideas except the devs are really, really stupid and constantly gently caress it up and get super defensive any time people point out they hosed up, there's a bug or did something they explicitly promised they wouldn't do. I fondly remember one point when they made the first, and mandatory, level of the game the hardest one in the game. Then banned a lot of new players who popped in to say "This is a cool game but I literally can not beat the first level, I'm not going to keep playing."

I love ragdoll physics in games, especially Euphoria. I think it's the biggest landmark in gaming tech since going 3D. But that video mostly reminds of how characters in GTAV are made of glass and the tiniest physics fuckery kills you stone dead which just prohibits all the fun. They should've made that stuff do way, way less damage than it does. I mean, they even have a dedicated ragdoll button in the game (except in multiplayer which is why multi sucks).

The newest zelda is incorperating a completely open world ala zelda 1, the ability to climb on drat near everything, a ragdoll engine and physics tools alot like half life's gravity gun. You're able to freeze objects and impart kenetic energy before they unfreeze. The potential for fuckery is going to be infinite.
