You're pretty badly overstating how aggressive you think I was. I dated other guys through the time I knew him, only came by during the times he said were good for me to come by, and when he said not to come by any more I didn't.

When you flip the script and it's a lady who doesn't know how to let down some dude who was a long time friend but now keeps showing her with unwanted attention and unwanted gifts and sexually propositioned her and is following her Facebook from afar wondering why she won't give him a chance, it's a familiar story and one we can only hope stops there. I mean yeah the guy should use his words more straightforwardly but that's a pretty common complaint the other way around too (although imo he's been pretty clear with his actions!)

serious question pick: are you capable of pumping gas i know you've been legally barred, being in Ron Wyden's People's Republic, but if society broke down tomorrow, could you gas up your car and make a break for glorious canadia? i dated a woman from jersey who literally couldn't pump gas, it was hilarious

This is one of the weaker stories but still p funny I guess

I (23F) don't know how to feel about his (25M) fantasiesquote:I've started seeing this guy for a couple of months but we have been friends for years. I know he is a good guy but he showed me his porn and I just don't know how to react. He is mainly into hentai and looks at a lot of rape of forced porn, which I react badly to sometimes because I have been raped in a past relationship and he knows it. Mainly I wonder why the girl has to be forced for him to like it.

I carry either a Glock 26 or Taurus TCP depending on where I am going and what I am wearing. The TCP owns and is only like 200 bucks, tho if you want American there is the Ruger lcp for the same price. For target shooting the CZ will work perfectly

My roommate is accusing me of poisoning her winequote:My roommate called the cops on me because she claims that I put poison in her wine. The cops came, spoke to both of us, and left. They told me her wine smelled like peppermint. Shortly after her and her friend began to harass me so I went and filed a protective order against her. I'm afraid that she will try to continue the allegations against me as revenge. Is this even possible to do? The officer claimed there was no reason to believe the wine had been "poisoned" but I am afraid of what she will try to accuse me of.

jesus christ /r/legaladvice: Quitting my job after boss raped me on business trip. Unsure how to address it in resignation email or if I should at all. quote:I'm a nanny, and the title pretty much says it all. I live in Texas. This happened almost two months ago, and I've only recently begun to process and deal with what happened. I was in a state of shock and denial for a long while afterward. I'm planning on sending him an email later today rather than quit in person to ensure my safety. Part of me wants to confront him so he knows exactly why I'm leaving. I feel like if I keep the email too vague, he will pester me about why I'm leaving so suddenly. He has a very controlling personality, so I don't see him letting it go very easily. My main question is--- Is it a bad idea from a legal standpoint, in case I want to try to press charges in the future, to accuse him of raping/sexually assaulting me in the email? I honestly don't think I have enough evidence, he is incredibly wealthy, used to be a lawyer and knows many lawyers, so I am unsure if I will ever see any legal action go through. However, I still want to know my best plan of action for right now.

My almost 3 month old daughter has been subpoenaed to testify in a criminal casequote:Last Thursday a process server came to our house and served a subpoena for a criminal case on my daughter, who was born on April 15, 2015. I called the number on it to explain how it must be a mistake because my daughter is not even 3 months old yet but I was told there was no mistake and my daughter is required to appear as a witness to testify on the date shown on the subpoena. I went in person with my daughter to the DA’s office and was told the same thing. My husband and I thought this might be a case of identity theft. She doesn’t have a social security number yet because she was born at 29 weeks, spent 11 weeks in the NICU and has only been home from the hospital for 7 days so we haven’t gotten around to it yet. We checked anyway just in case and one has not be created for her or issued to her. Nothing with her credit either. We called the police about it possibly being identity theft and they are looking into it but so far there is nothing and they also told us the subpoena is legitimate. So we are very confused. My daughter has a rare and uncommon first, middle and last name, so it is very doubtful that there someone else with her exact name. When I called the number on the subpoena and went to the DA’s office I was told both times that if she doesn’t show up for court a warrant will be issued for her arrest. Would the police actually arrest a baby for not showing up in court? Or would my husband and I as her parents be arrested instead? Does anyone have an explanation for what is happening here or any advice as to what we can do to solve this? I swear I'm not trolling, I wouldn't believe this myself except it is actually happening to us. We are in California.

Depends on how much practice you want to do. Revolvers and Glocks (and similar pistols) have no safeties that need to be disengaged, so you can just point and shoot without fumbling the safety. Semi-autos often have a higher capacity than revolvers of the same size and power; you may not find it necessary, but bad luck happens and 15 rounds is better to have than 6 if you miss 3 or 4 times. I prefer single-stack 1911s in part because the grips are very thin and comfortable for any hand size, though obviously you lose capacity for it.
