Jason Statham was 10000% the best thing about the last Fast film. He has two major action set pieces and you're craving to see him for the rest of the film.

Crank 1 is a top 5 action movie ever made.

Where is Crank 3?!!!!!

I expect it'll be The 5th Element, except with completely uninteresting actors and characters instead of Bruce and Milla.

Running Man needs a remake. But not overly dark and gritty. It has to be stupid fun and gory.

maybe not stupid. never go full sandler.

"Tiny Trains"

Valerian looks kinda cool but the main casting screams YA novel adaptation. I've seen over the last years some cool concepts or trailers, a post-apocalyptic setting, some vast dystopia and I get interested, then we see the main characters but it's some extremely baby-faced children in the leads and gently caress, it's YA bullshit.

Studios don't know how to do anything with reboots other than make winking nods and strip out all the weirdness that made the original good and cool.

A Running Man remake will start with 6 films for the origin stories of each stalker and Ben Richards, followed with the actual Running Man event film, then films of stand alone stories set in the same Runningverse.

If Wonder Woman had been directed by a man, literally exactly the same movie shot for shot, word for word, it wouldn't be getting the same level of praise.

Discuss!

Idk what "the level of praise" wonder woman got was, I guess a bunch?

Anyway I just saw it for the first time last night and I legit enjoyed myself. Film wasn't flawless but I had fun, liked the male and female leads and even thought the moral of the movie was p good. I dunno if it deserves as much praise as you perceive it as getting but if I had just been told a man directed it I don't think it would change any of my opinions on it.

Edit- also I liked the male and female leads in a big budget Hollywood film. I haven't said that in years if you discount mad max.

More nudity would definitely have been an improvement for my viewing experience but it wouldn't have made the movie any less poo poo.

There's more than one religion out there that does this. It gets weird when they want you to hook up with someone but not have sex before marriage.
