I actually started to think maybe I had misread Stephanie's reaction on the video and that maybe the universe was going to take pity on my poor stupid rear end and that my family wouldn't be destroyed.
Now I don't know what to think because Stephanie called last night and again wanted to come over and take a shower.
Right away, I'm thinking, "What the gently caress?" I mean, it didn't make any sense. Even if I was wrong and she assumed the camera pen was off, it just seemed weird that she'd want to come over here and shower again. Granted, our house is more convenient, but I know they have other places they could till their bathroom is done. My wife's parents only live another ten minutes or so away, for example.
Then I started to get the paranoid idea that maybe she was going to see if I did it again and try to bust me in the act this time. And I had an idea. I decided I'd put the pen in the shower again, but this time turned off. And as I said I already deleted the video almost immediately. So if she decided to swipe the pen or something, she'd see that it was empty.
It seemed like a really elegant way to get out of the whole mess. And I had what I thought was a particularly brilliant idea on top of it. After I set the pen out, I got one of my wife's really long hairs out of her hair brush and draped it across the camera pen. That way, if she didn't swipe the camera altogether, I'd at least know if she picked it up again and fiddled with it. If you open it up, it's got an LED inside that shows when it's on.
Well, Stephanie came over. I hid in the garage again. To be honest, I didn't have the balls to face her and was worried that my face would give something away. But when I heard her leaving my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to casually stroll through as she was leaving.
When I walked by the living room where she was telling my wife goodbye, she glanced at me and I swear to God she actually smirked. And my heart just sank.
As soon as she was gone, I went to the bathroom and to my complete confusion the pen was unmoved. The hair was still draped across it where I left it and it looked to be in the exact same position.
So... What the gently caress? Why didn't she check it? Did she just assume it was off? Or did she assume it was on and wanted to make sure last time wasn't just a fluke and now she's going to bust my rear end to everyone after all? I thought I had found a creative way to get out of this mess, but she didn't do what I expected her to do and I have no idea why.

"She is finally ready..." I reply "who is ready?" and she responds "Jacklyn". I have a best friend & sister named Jacklyn, no idea why she would be thinking of either of them while we were being intimate. Another 5 minutes goes by and she says it for a third time - "She is here". "Who is?" I reply and she said "Susie". This time I have no idea who she is talking about.

At this point I'm thinking she is all over the place, but whatever. I never brought up the names she was bringing up randomly because I wanted to see if she would address it but she didn't. At this point my stomach knotted up and I realized maybe she thought the spirit of her dead grandma was in the room with us last night or something? I have felt sick ever since and have yet to bring it up but at this point I am scared as hell and think I might have made a really big mistake here. I don't know how to bring this up, or if I should break up with her but it's really messing with me right now. Any advice would be appreciated.
TL;DR: My new girlfriend told me her dead grandma's spirit was in the room with us when we had sex for the first time, and now I feel like she is crazy and don't know if I should dump her.

OP is driving himself into fits of anxiety largely over being unable to control his risky criminal behavior and sexual urges. sis in law came over to shower again because their shower is broken, same as the first time. OP concocts a completely idiotic cover story to explain why the spy pen is there a second time instead of just, you know, immediately destroying the spy pen and denying it ever existed. he's so completely terrified about his behavior and the repercussions that he's ghosting about the house consumed with drama that only exists in his own mind, to the point that he thinks the sis in law is smirking at him

I'd go one step worse: he's interpreting her behavior (which he's mostly imagining) as evidence that she's actually into him.
i read it as he imagines she's toying with him in a high stakes game of cat and mouse - he doesn't seem to think she's into him, but rather he's trying to bait her into exposing her intentions by putting the inactive spy cam down a second time (why the gently caress would you do this) so he can assess her mindset about having learned she was being spied on. she deftly spotted his trap and is prolonging his misery
except, the story as written indicates she's not aware she was filmed and this guy is giving himself ulcers over nothing except the slow realization that he's a rapist in waiting

So my brother has problems with addictions and abandoned my sister in law and nephews about four years ago, her mother and her took the car that he used to work with and this led him to go hard into drugs and never got a job back.
After some time I begun helping my brother out, I took him in, gave him food, and set up meetings with a drugs rehabilitation program.
About a year ago she finds me on the street and tells me that she wants to make everthing right again with me and my brother, this happens right after I lost my mother and father to cancer, they supported her financially and also helped with taking care of the kids. I asked her if the kids need something and she tells me that she is doing okay.
About a week later she asks me for some money and says that she is gonna repay me when she collects a large sum of money that her mother left her when she died, she even shows me the paper from the bank with the date of pay. I loan her the money in hopes that these is gonna help with the reunification of my brother and my nephews.
Some time later all hell breaks loose, my brother goes to see the kids for the first time in four years high AF so she kicks him out, she sends me a text complaining about it and I tell her that my brother is not my responsibility, she gets really mad and we cut contact. My brother goes even deeper into drugs steals some money from me and dissapears.
A couple of months later she asks if I can help buying her groceries I said yes because I feel sorry for my nephews and this goes on for seven months, until last month. Last month my job asks me to print some information about my medical care and retirement plan, I've never had to do this so I've never went to the website, when I tried to login I realize there's some data that I don't recognize including an email with the name of my sister in law (imagine herfirstname@yahoo.com) when I ask her about it she denies it. This site has detailed information about my financial situation.
My family always had a rocky relationship with her because she always sort of abuse the trust we gave her with things like asking for money constantly, leaving the kids for really long periods even though my parents were elderly, and she would usually insult them if she didn't got her way. At one point she sue my father because my brother wasn't giving her any money and my father had to pay even though he was retired and with a minimal income.
She has threatened to sue me and every time she ask me for something I feel like she is manipulating me.
This month she ask me to buy groceries and I haven't responded, I feel like she is using me like she used everyone on my family, but I'm not really sure, maybe she really does need help. She showed me her salary but it's so tiny that I have trouble believing it's real, she's only working part time.
Am I in the wrong for not wanting to help her anymore?
TL;DR: my sister in law asks me for help for her and my nephews but someting tells me she is trying to take advantage of me.
Edit: forgot a tiny detail, I'm from Argentina.
