The awful app ate my post, so I'll summarize it as best I can. And by "summarize" I mean "retype the whole thing but can't be arsed to go back and pull the quotes again." Taurus SHO digital dash is awesome, I kinda wanted one already, but that's icing on the cake. Did they make a SHO wagon? God help me, I'm starting to like the ugly mid-'90s cars. I'd unironically rock a Taurus wagon or 4th-gen Camaro (third-gen was cooler but would require me to grow a mullet, and the Fox body cop car was the only decent Mustang between 1969 and 2005.) Or maybe even certain minivans. My mom had a '96-ish Windstar that went through three sets of head gaskets every 20k miles, the originals blowing the instant the warranty expired, and trashed one head. But it was cute, and had a lot of cargo space. I may have a problem. Re: Offroad tires on regular cars: next time I buy tires, I'm getting those pictured. IDGAF whether it's for a Taurus wagon, a minivan, or my current Kia Opirus (Er, Amanti.) The Kia, when I get a replacement for it, is going to be turned into a LeMons or equivalent (is there a rallycross like LeMons?) car, and go out in a blaze of glory. LeMons has relaxed rules for Korean luxobarges, and I plan to take full advantage of them -- on paper, it's about equivalent to my ex-cop Crown Vic, but FWD. Also I've already emailed the LeMons guys asking about it, because I paid $700 for it, because that was how much my aunt had recently spent on new tires just before her daughter stopped driving it. They said I'm good, tires don't count toward the price, by their rules I got it free. Things we don't like: I don't personally care for donks/lowriders/stanced cars, but I can admire well-made ones on a technical level. The poorly-done ones, I just laugh at the builder's incompetence (or take a picture and post it in the sister thread to this one) and go on with my life. For example, I'm not a fan of this genre, but goddamn they did what they set out to do perfectly. Chillbro Baggins fucked around with this message at 00:48 on May 5, 2018 |

It’s substantially faster than my manual one and I actually drive it more often because it’s hilarious; makes around 300awhp and external wastegate vented to atmosphere gives me the giggles. I am constantly on the fence though, and I’d sell the other one if it came down to someone wanting it more. This is the other one. Stock height and slower than the champagne one, but other than the surface rust on the front fenders that just started this winter it’s super clean. Interior looks brand new and it’s a Limited so it has the heated leather/heated windshield/massive sunroof (although so is the other one) Imperador do Brasil fucked around with this message at 17:32 on May 5, 2018 |
