i mostly like the nobuo eumatsu/koji kondo "let's write for nintendo like composers" thing but there's something charming about how the Mega Man music leans into the fact that it's made on some kind of 8 bit chipset. that complainer guy got bubble man stuck in my head.

lmfao just lost like 3 hours to hollowknight..ifucking love this game. happy to report the switch version doesnt have any inexplicable framerate or loading issues that plagues a lot of lazy switch ports, it also takes advantage of the HD rumble with little ticks for collecting coins and hard jolts for landing big hits and stuff.
