That's pretty typical of OSHA. They're all bark and no bite. Might hurt the precious job creators if they were actually held accountable.

:stonklol: that camera doesn’t properly convey how loud that would’ve been. A small recreational boat is louder than hell when it’s like 100yds away, a ship would be borderline deafening (if the sound of you making GBS threads your wetsuit hadn’t claimed your hearing first)

I don't know how it works for manufacturing, but in pipelines OSHA - and in our state AKOSH - penalties are primarily for repeated and willfully neglected violations. We'd also refer material for PHMSA larger investigations. So yeah, this is tiny but it will hopefully lead to more noticeable penalties down the line. Hopefully. Probably not

We are still waiting on the Tesla equivalent of Bad Blood (I’ll bet once shareholder and SEC lawsuits/depositions get rolling in the next 2-3 years) but I’m willing to bet it’s going to be a doozy.

Meanwhile you have to hunt around for accounts of Musk as a bad manager, Tesla’s misleading and poorly vetted safety claims.
