All marriages should be between a left winger and a right winger. Marrying someone with the same political views as yours is futile. (Though arguably having a poly relationship with a centrist helps in keeping your marriage steady.) Nations should also be heterogenous in ethnicity and religion because a nation can't fly with two white protestant wings, they need an equal black muslim counterpart.
