I guess if there wasn't coin battle mode it would be dumb but seeing as there's an entire multiplayer mode dedicated to going through a level and getting the most coins I can see it adding a bunch of replay value if you have a group of friends who are into it.

Seriously though, just because it doesn't meet your exact specifications doesn't mean it's dumb. It seems like every time I come in this thread you're flipping out about some little thing and threatening to cancel your pre-order because "that's not the way I want it!! :qq:" The U in the system name doesn't actually mean it was designed specifically for you! Different people use different things in different ways! Just because you apparently will never play video games with a real live person doesn't mean nobody else will either!

I mean I'm not saying you can't complain. I'm not saying there's nothing to complain about, there definitely is, but holy poo poo you take it to a whole other level. Basically:

Can you go back and use the Homebrew Channel on the Wii after downloading the transfer app and moving everything? I want to get all my stuff on my Wii U but I still want to be able to go back and use a Classic Controller for Donkey Kong Country Returns or whatever other homebrew things I might want.

And also, does it erase all the saves off of the Wii, or does it just make copies?

Yeah, HBC and all that was totally left alone for me. Currently restoring my pre-transfer NAND with BootMii. Totally painless! :toot:

EDIT: Oh yeah, it erases whatever it transfers off the Wii. So back up whatever you need beforehand.

In other news, I didn't get a lot of time to play with mine yesterday because I'm sick and my medicine hosed me up big-time but the hour of Nintendoland I played and however much time I spent messing around with the system in general were fun! This ia a fun thing!

Man, the Wii U version of Mighty Switch Force is great just because of Miiverse. I stumbled into a time attack war on level 8 just because I like that one a lot and posted a good time, then the creator of the game/head of WayForward beat my time and I spent a fair amount of time beating that only to have ANOTHER person do even better before I could post it and now I just beat his by a good .06 seconds and got to draw myself wearing shades and a crown.
