She doesn't do genetic experiments on anything with a pulse.

Edit: I have a 9CL question. What's more likely: that the GI will have actually survived the war and he'll get reintroduced to the comic as an old man starting a love triangle between centenarians OR that the GI will get sent to a concentration camp?

They introduced someone else as the dad-not-dad though, a guy who they hated who said something creepy about purity. And the mom and daughter sang about the mom being a love child.

This is just a quick reminder that the movie Stripped drops on iTunes tomorrow. It's a movie about the past, present, and future of comic strips. They interviewed dozens of cartoonists including Richard Thompson, Kate Beaton, Bill Amend, Kris Straub, and Bill Watterson. I highly recommend you check it out.

Edit: The movie poster was also done by Bill Watterson.

I like Mason and have high hopes that this is the start of his life turning around somehow.

Edit: He actually reminds me of a kid I knew in high school named John come to think of it. My most vivid memory of John was him taking out a lighter and lighting it in order to get pulled out of class because his buttons were getting pushed and he didn't want to get violent. He was still escorted out of the room by the cops anyways but better at least it wasn't because of him getting violent.

They called the police because a student was playing with a lighter? :psyduck:

Our high school had a few cops and security cameras to help keep the order just in case. I don't remember the school having any particular problems with violence but for some reason we had to have them. This was also before the Columbine shootings if memory serves.

That shouldn't be the answer because it actually is possible to walk a tightrope in heels. There's even a youtube video of a woman doing that. Not that this would matter to the inspector.

Is the real solution going to be something like "If you really had the flu you wouldn't be bundling up"?

Edit: This reminded me of a CSI episode. A woman was questioned about where she was the morning of the murder. She gave her alibi as being sick from food poisoning from the night before. The head detective dismissed her story; according to him food poisoning would set in within 15 minutes and would have dissipated by the next morning.

The thing is, there is no singular type of food poisoning, many things can cause different symptoms we lump together as "food poisoning". And even if she didn't have food poisoning she could have been mistaken about what made her sick.

I stand corrected, but I honestly thought those were two different kinds of cap. The former looks like a cap that fits close to the head, the later looks like it's got a lot of empty space. Most of the images I can recall seeing of that sort of cap are the latter, exaggerated kind.
