It wasn't very long ago that I was arguing with a rich Asian guy at Dartmouth (who managed to do two study abroads, mind you) who was like "How is that racist" when I said "you know, your comments that black people need to 'change their culture' are pretty racist" and tried justifying it with anecdotes from Nicki Minaj on twitter talking about "white-shaming of high-achieving black pupils by their peers in predominantly black schools" and saying "NO MORE WHITE-SHAMING".

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I will 100% vote Republican. I voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012 because of the two candidates, I preferred him.

HOWEVER, if it had been between, say, Jon Huntsman and Obama in 2012, I would have voted Huntsman. I don't want Bush, I want Huntsman, Rand Paul or some rare moderate realpolitik mix. And even then, I'd hold my nose while voting for Paul.

But don't worry, I'll let you keep making the immediate assumption of "He'll consider voting GOP, therefore he'd vote for Bush." It's a great stereotype.

You'd vote for Rand Paul, a "moderate" who came out against the Civil Right Act?
