I'm not skillful enough to critique your BOFFs worth a drat, but your equipment sounds pretty severely outdated and is at least one source of your woes.

Tuskin38 posted:If you donate to Chase Masterson's charity you can get some ships While I promised not to spend more money on STO in its current state, yeah, I can do T6 for $10 and charity. Edit: Tip, use Amazon as your payment option if you can. It went through instantly, while others are complaining that the servers are overloaded and taking forever to process their payment and get their keys. Is the server being hosted on a C64 with internet through a old-timey modem or something? Apparently. The admins were saying in chat they didn't expect the rush of people they got.

Are Klinks getting their carrier finally updated to T6 too, or is it yet another bad day to die?

Getting Patrick Stewart onboard is one of those strange redeeming acts Cryptic does once in awhile. I mean, without this the game would just be a downhill slide since LoR.

Berke Negri posted:Now putting your bridge right on top of a flat, exposed saucer section yeah that's not good. They'd probably end up with less crewmen fried by exploding computers if they buried that thing a little deeper inside the ship. I always thought the battle bridge on the Enterprise D was supposed to serve that purpose. Then I wonder why the hell they ever use the main bridge when they have a functionally identical, easier to defend spare bridge to use.

Is there a good way to get the hanger pets from engagement to engagement? If they're actually on scene they're quite potent and fun to watch, but if a map involves full impulsing from fight to fight (like most do) I end up sitting there acting like an oversized sci boat until the escorts meander over.

Best moment in the expansion so far is when you're in the admiral's office getting your first promotion in the TOS arc, Spock suddenly walks in, spouts a few sown-together lines in disjointed audio quality, and then walks back out while your character and the admiral just mutely stare into space. I don't think it's the effect Cryptic was going for, but it was the funniest thing I've seen in this game.

If some of those numbers are accurate (they're probably not, but let's pretend) the whales that got the packages put in somewhere north of $8,000. That beggars my imagination.

Unrelated to the OpSec nightmare, has Cryptic ever explained why their patches are so goddamn big? The patch notes for today just indicates it's a hotfix for server issues, but the drat thing is north of 450mb received and 572mb patched.
