The Forge World version has them and this new version is somehow really lacking as a result. Give him a cape or tabard or something. Looks like the foot-braziers are actually part of his base though, thank gently caress. They haven't gotten that stupid yet, at least. Proletariat Beowulf posted:Question: has anyone here ever just stopped using an army, quit it cold-turkey? Just said "gently caress it" 100% and sold off the bits? I had a wood elf army back when there were virtually no plastics (mono pose bowmen I think) . I sold it off as I rarely played the game. More recently I sold off all the Space Marine stuff I was starting to accumulate because I realized I'm a completest and since SM will always be getting updates and additions, I would never stop buying them. Plus they were really boring to play. I have sold off lots of various army stuff that I got as parts of bulk lots and could have used, but had no interest in at the time. As of now I only have my 40K Orks, a smattering of models for WHFB and 40K. Most of which are fated to become models used in other games, like making a Viking army for Saga out of Dwarves. Out of all the stuff I still have I look at most of it as money spent, so breaking it up for sale, or discounting it to sell in a bulk lot doesn't much interest me. I may not do much with some of my minis, but they don't take up much space at this point and the money is already gone, so I don't sweat it. As for regret. I may have some small regrets about some models, Tau fire warriors, Orc & Goblins from fantasy, because I could conceivably use them in other systems, but I don't really care that much. The only real concern is that I don't succumb to too much retail therapy and filling the hole in my soul with more plastic/pewter just because I can.

FromTheShire posted:I have a couple of terminators that have this same banner pole setup, does anyone know a good solution for actually putting banners on them? All the bits I've been able to find are banners with the crossbar piece molded to the banner. If need be I could probably snip off the existing ones and use one of those, but I have to imagine there was something designed to go on those originally, right? The old banners were paper or stickers.

Liquid Communism posted:I think my biggest complaint is that there's no good way to get a poo poo-ton of Boyz for a price. Best I've come up with is still about $2 each. You needed to buy low, when ork players were giving up on 40K during 7th ed. Now that they don't look like utter garbage their cost is climbing again. E: I can't lie. I'm very happy I sold off my Space Marine models and decided to keep my Orks. I like kit bashing them and I figured I'd spent the money already, so why not keep them?
