tbh stormfront is largely pretty unfunny but occasionally it just dives headfirst into "andy kaufman is alive" territoryquote:I do let my daughter play video games, but I do research on the games before I let her play them. She seems to like Kirby's Epic Yarn for the Wii, and that Mario Kart game. The thing about Snowpiercer is, all the silliness is 100% deliberate and honestly gives the movie most of its charm. It's really not too far removed from The Fifth Element, just with Korean quirkiness replacing the French quirkiness.

To move this conversation away from stupid slapfighting, are tone arguments invariably a bad thing, or do they have a time and place? I obviously think that being nice to people who are saying stuff like "kill all niggers" or "push the Arab menace to the sea" is stupid, but if someone's genuinely just being ignorant and not malicious (i.e. a "fiscal conservative, social liberal" type who isn't aware of how that's kind of an oxymoron), is there no value to trying to convert them to the right side?

In practice their only powers are to shadowban people and ban subreddits, and in the former case they just make parachute accounts because they don't have to pay  to join.
