Hey thanks for the pro-tip on the Gorgon. As a career 0.7 k/d guy I just went 42-15 on Nuketown and have been positive six games in a row.

I didn't include shotguns because I'm pretty sure my rof number on the Brecci is wrong, but if I did, the Haymaker is near top tier at optimal (2sk) range, falls off rapidly from there, the KRM and Argus are bottom middle if they fail to 1sk, and the Brecci is near the bottom (but I believe that's wrong, I think it's actually between the Haymaker and KRM/Argus for its 2sk, and it has a more consistent 2sk range than the Haymaker).

There are also caveats out the rear end here, optimal range for some guns is like a hair outside melee range, and good luck consistently hitting full bursts, and it doesn't factor head shots, and it doesn't consider high caliber, rapid fire, suppressors, long barrels, blah blah. And lol if you think you can achieve ideal Vesper kill times at range.

ie, use these as tier lists to declare anything at the bottom poo poo tier and justify why you died.

This isn't the ideal way to show this, preferably I'd show it graded by range so you can see how different guns are better/worse at a given distance, but that'd take actual effort, and you aren't paying me enough for that :10bux:

Guns in BO3 have a very pronounced damage stepping system, so at X range you'll take 3 shots/Y time to kill, but an asshair past that and it takes 4 shots/Y++ time to kill. This hits guns like the RK5 and Kuda particularly hard, and the KN44 to some extent.

(But yes, the XR2 owns, my first gold gun for entirely unrelated reasons I swear :smugdog: I believe it also reloads and moves faster than other ARs for no good reason, need to double check that though)

I don't know if playing in a group is necessarily any better. I play grouped with some friends all the time and we routinely get rolled. We just aren't very good.

PS: If there's a CoD training regimen please let me know what it is. Let's start with the basics like how do I shoot somebody.

I hosed up the stats on the burst guns, forgot to include burst delay for worst burst and fix the timing. Makes them a lot less terrifyingly dominant (duh), but still strong.

XR2 is pretty great though. I had a rougher time with the M8, lot of failed two bursts.

I had to take Grip off to (un)intentionally get more headshots

In practice it's always been a piece of poo poo because playing with pubs means that half a minute into the round you're either on the winning team farming easy feeds, or you're on the team who is constantly spawning on the walkway and your only options are to go towards the point you don't control or the point you're currently losing - whichever you choose will lead directly to someone farming easy feeds for air scorestreaks that are impossible to shoot down without engineer.

This is why all my classes have engineer and a launcher. At least I can shoot down the scorestreaks I give away by being terrible. :gbsmith:

Need to test the XR-2, see if the tweak helped with its consistency at all.

I don't think idle sway reductions will help the BRM/Dingo for me, but hey, free Gorgon/Dredge buff.

Reduced idle sway on Sheiva and Locus is just gravy, on the ICR, it could be cool with High Cal. You really really really really really need to hit the (high cal) headshots with the ICR or it is a Bad Gun with awful ttk. On the other hand someone killed me with it from grammas to the back window of the barn yesterday while I was using a Locus, so what do I know.

KRM needed the buff, no idea why the Argus got one but ok? Maybe a hipfire thing.

SMG sprintout reduction is... odd. Not sure what the motivation is there. Maybe help protect them against burst deaths or high cal hipfires?

Also they said 'collision tuning'. Maybe slightly less mangrinding at the start of rounds?

But why would they nerf my ripper? It's the funnest thing. :(

I am enjoying your twitches, fuzz and versus. It's interesting to see where you hang out on maps and what you're looking at. I also didn't know you could feather your boosts like that to get some really far glides going. I didn't think I would care to watch others but I really enjoy it actually.
