Seattle has recently been a run first team because their best receiver was doug baldwin, i think graham is undervalued in a lot of circles and i'm very excited to see what russel wilson can do with a competent passcatcher. That being said, gently caress TEs

Figuring out who you should drop early and who to hold on to all season is one of the more important and underrated fantasy skills imo. Way too many people get attached to their drafted players and have them sit on the bench for 9 weeks not doing anything before finally dropping them for a second defense or bye-week kicker. It can definitely bite you in the rear end sometimes, but I've found that being super aggressive with drops/waiver pickups pays off like 80% of the time, and I end up getting a league-winning player from the waiver wire almost every year that I win.

Trading those players to someone willing to buy "low" is my favorite part of the fantasy season

Also, hopefully I'm not too late for stat chat, but I'd love to see the zero-RB draft strategy analysis done using real scoring data from years past, rather than projected points data from this year.

One of the arguments for using zero RB is that WRs are less likely to bust relative to their ADP. Using projected points to determine the success of the strategy doesn't really account for the bust factor. After all, if the RBs were projected to bust, they wouldn't be drafted so high in the first place.

Zero RB strat last year was not viable. I did a bunch of mocks going for a Graham/Gronk or a DT/Peyton strat and kept getting Toby Gerhart and Bishop Sankey as RB1/2 and I wasn't comfortable with that

I originally was all in on Kelce. I really believe in his talent and think his role in KC will be both safe and prominent. News out of Dallas camp has me questioning my gut. Not only is Randle gobbling up first team reps with his competition sidelined, but he's looking great while doing it. I still don't think it's out of the question that Dallas signs someone and tanks Randle's value though.

Keepers have to be in by 8-15.

How big are your balls? Kelce is safer but Randle will outright win you the league if he pans out.

He's so talented but I have seen nothing to think that they're going to utilize him in a way that actually promotes that talent. He's going to spend 2015 running roughshod over linebackers while Jamaal Charles gobbles all the touches and Alex Smith panics and ponders over his tiny hands.

TEs are dumb guys for real

Kelce is "safe" because you can drop him in your TE slot and forget about him until KC's bye. His snaps were capped because of Fasano but now he's likely to be a top 5 TE on the season

Randle is relatively riskier since he can be put into RBCC or worse the Cowboys could sign Bradshaw/another FA. He could either be an elite RB for the season or not worth rostering before opening kickoff

that being said, agree TEs suck and OP is a huge pussy if he keeps Kelce over Randle

Fun question for everyone:

Imagine you're in a league where you have to declare keepers three weeks before the draft. Imagine a keeper like, say, Kelvin Benjamin, were to tear an ACL in practice (I know, totally unthinkable, but bear with me here) after he was declared a keeper but before the draft. Should the owner of that player be allowed to drop that keeper? They don't get to declare a new keeper, just get the pick back for a guy that will most likely be in a wheelchair for the next eight months.

They should be able to drop that player and keep someone else IMO
