Splatoon is cool and good and I am looking forward to seeing what Nintendo has to offer at E3, as they're the only game company I give a poo poo about anymore. Also don't read the games subforum if you can help it, it's poo poo and the posters there have this knack for sucking the joy out of even the best of things.

Kinda hoping there'd be a new, proper metroid game and a proper animal crossing, not this boardgame poo poo, and smt x fe looks like garbage. Otherwise, nintendo's e3 lineup looked alright. But I want more info on the open world zelda they've been talking about.

I mainly watch people play video games if they're good at them or if they're bad at them but still funny, but a lot of the people in LP who do video LPs are bad and unfunny.

Some people on miiverse are getting salty about people celebrating one of the most monumental civil rights decisions of our generation. The argument's always the same, too: "Kids play this game! Miiverse is for discussing the game not for this!" etc. etc. I honestly cannot understand it.  And then there are some people last night who had no apparent clue what was going on.  Like, I originally figured that no one under the age of 17 plays Splatoon anymore but maybe I was wrong, or there are a lot of dumbass teens and young adults out there.

I think it plays a lot better than splat zones, and I think that's because it doesn't rely so heavily on the skills of your team. It's pretty easy for one person to turn the tide. The sheer speed of it helps, too, every match is intense as gently caress, and every fight matters. I went from C- to C+ tonight before calling it a night.
