The default sorceress face isn't too far off from Blunt. Mostly just need to fix the hair color to include awful highlights. I haven't played anything more recent than The Secret World, so I was overdue for a bad decision like this.

The game does a really good job of making settlements and cities feel occupied though. Part of that's definitely from the crazy numbers of players in the closed beta, but the NPC presence is pretty dense, too.

What's the deal with mob knowledge ranks? Is it just a roulette, or can I rank up my knowledge by Also, it seems like there are no node workshops that let you melt ore into melted [ore] shards to streamline the tool/armament production process. You have to process the ore yourself and then store it in the warehouse for your workers to use in making ingots or whatever. Is this accurate or am I missing something?

Not only did the beta cash shop have furniture, the cash shop was linked into the residence placement view with an option to cash out pearls/go straight to the website to buy pearls. The local furniture vendor wasn't.Jackard posted:It was me. Some of these objects feel pretty pointless though. Can't even use the chests to access/upgrade your storage?? With the amount that some of the furnishings cost, I'd expect more functionality. That said, I'm gonna grind up amity with the furniture vendors and outfit ~such sweet digs~.

Man I thought I was extra shameful for buying the mid-tier package. Now I'm only highly shameful.  The hunting stuff is weird--that owl hunting sidequest? Really couldn't find poo poo about it online. Guides all say that hunting is for whales/sharks. Turns out that you can shoot birds and beehives with the gun (but not the beehives in the Tiny Fatal Bees quest, as I found out in a fatal misadventure). e: anyway I'll be up to chopping wood or whatever dumb poo poo needs doing for the guild once we middle class plebes are allowed in.

I straight up jumped on ships and rafts. As far as I could tell, there's no way to seize control and no extra interface. One person put their raft away while I was standing on it... That was interesting.

(I got a little videogames mad at a bees quest, jesus.)

Well, since you can't pvp for a while, and you crave tears and human suffering... You can kite enemies to other players' mounts when they naively leave them unattended in combat areas. Imps and goblins kite well, and they have special aggro towards mounts. Have fun, commandos. o9
