I got one of those little fuckers for my buddy for christmas last year after seeing how much abuse your streamlights suffered. Its quite skookum, but does run through batteries fairly quickly despite being LEDs.

Can confirm thats a knock sensor. Its a dead ringer with the ones I yanked out of my avalache's 5.3. You can probably run without it (I did for 2 years), just keep the timing conservative. Also, on the ls based motors, they are threaded into the valley pan. Under the intake manifold. I'm glad I listened and bought both sensors and a new harness to do that job. Also, I'll happily offer to look poo poo up for 14" while at work. I can pull up wiring diagrams easy enough, take pictures and send to him.

I've always been envious of people capable of enjoying hallucinagens. My mental state when I had access to stuff like that was such that I was wary of trying it. Even shrooms were iffy, with about a 50/50 split of good and bad trips.

Yeah, my first of only a couple experiences with dxm started with me coming up in line at wendys with everyones heads going full exorcist spinning around to face me while rotting, leading to me hauling rear end across a busy road to the woods between there and my house to curl up in a ball in a dense pack of bushes for three hours because I was convinced cops were after me even after a friend came to check up on me and ended with a walk home at night, convinced that I had somehow got into a horror movie and a lunatic with a knife was going to murder me and said friend. And I was in a great mood when I took the dxm. gently caress that stuff.

In all seriousness, an lq4 is probably more than enough power and torque to get that thing moving way faster than sims would ever want to take the truck. Maybe look at something like the holley high ram intake, a bigger aftermarket throttle body to keep it cable operated and a cam that helps it make more torque down low. My vote is 4bt swap.
