Speaking of limpets, I've been having a lot of fun recently tossing them into enemy-held buildings and racking up kills off the debris. If you haven't tried this as Support, you should. Limpets will basically demolish any small building in one stroke.

So uh, important note! The Infiltrator's mortar marker flare does not travel like a regular flare. I tried firing one into an enemy-held point about 100m away and it landed ten feet in front of me. I then proceeded to get wasted by my own mortar strike.  Their grenade launcher is pretty fun, but I think it'll take practice to get used to.

As much fun as lance charges are, I'm finding that the lance is pretty drat versatile with its normal attack. My beloved Benét-Mercié, what have they done to you?  A lot of the TTK changes are pretty good and/or unnoticeable but the Benét-Mercié is like a completely different, shittier gun now. The thing used to be a drat assault rifle and now I can't hit anything with it.

My new favorite pastime is lancing enemy cavs. https://i.imgur.com/LnVoQwO.gifv https://i.imgur.com/pDqVE5N.gifv https://i.imgur.com/S9ECPEb.gifv The best part about this is that horses tend to automatically jump before it looks like you're in melee range, so nobody expects this to actually work, which means enemy cavs will happily let you charge right at them. If you stab right before the jump, the attack still technically goes through and deals damage even during the jump animation. Get the timing down right and you too can unhorse enemy riders like knights of olde

But yeah, jihad jeeps need to make a comeback. That would also require the other change that needs to happen in the new BF, allowing players to spawn in transport vehicles from the map again.

I'm always sad when I steal a horse and the owner had a sword equipped. EDIT: Also, pro-tip, I'm not sure when this was changed, but if you drop a medkit at a full gallop now, you'll automatically pick it up yourself... and it heals the horse too.

I want a new modern Battlefield because modern tech means more ways to kill snipers. UCAVs, choppers, spawn beacons that drop you on their head, BF4 was full of delicious sniper-killing methods. I don't even think snipers are OP and need counters or whatever, I just love killing snipers. I am unreasonably excited about the "exotic" scout archetype that DICE mentioned in the BFV reveal, the one that is meant to be behind enemy lines and carries a loving garrotte as a gadget. If that gives me silent melee takedowns like it sounds like it should, I'm gonna be choking wookie packs to death all day every day. It took a few rounds for the beta to click for me, but I feel like I'm getting into the groove a bit more and I'm liking it. It definitely needs some work and I'm sure a ton of poo poo will get changed before release, but I see a lot of potential. The thing that annoys me the most is how little AT ammo Assault gets. You can't even damage a tank for half its health before you're completely out. Maybe it'll be better when you can put another AT gadget in the grenade rifle slot, but right now Assaults feel piss-poor for what is supposed to be their main job.
