Yeah, I'm actually of two minds on this. On the one hand, I think the faces are terrible, like they gathered the janitor, the secretary, the guy selling hot dogs in front of their building, the squeegee guy, etc to save some cash. On the other hand, this is some of the best facial animation I've ever seen in a game.

I just did a metaverse boss battle against Darkseid, and he should fight in the cartoons the way he did in this fight. OMEGA BEAM OMEGA BEAM EXPLODING MINION OMEGA BEAM OMEGA BEAM. Up high, down low, all over the loving map, behind me, through me, other side of the map. Dude was a goddamn laser gattling gun.

Luckily, the fight forces you to use Supes, so after I realized I'm just not good enough to actually fight this kind of zoning, I went full ham with my lasers. Still just barely won. Good lord.

Very dead. Damian killed him in the comics, so I'm not sure what the circumstances are in Injustice 2. That said, during a Damian/Batman intro, Damian says he's Batman's son, and Batman makes it a point to say Dick was his son, too, making his death canon.

It's always a disappointment when fighting games cut out characters for sequels even though in-universe they're dead (although this game has the perfect excuse as to why Lex and Shazam and the like could still be around)

He wasn't cut out. It's just an item (ability that gives you his staff) you can acquire that gives you Nightwing's fighting style.

Constantine has plenty of tools besides manipulation. Gold knuckles for punches, his legs to dick kick or oval office punt, his revolver, holy water bombs, his holy shotgun, and that flamethrower thing he has. On top of that, his special ability could be drawing non-egyptian inspired seals or sigils in the air that grant random status buffs to self or debuffs to enemies. His ult could be summoning Trigon, whispering into his ear while pointing at you, after which he'll lean against something, light up a ciggy, take a drag, and grin as Trigon mollywhops the everliving poo poo out your enemy.

All else fails, he'd be a dope premier skin for Dr. Fate.

You're right, I mostly just wanted to be mad. I'm actually curious if the game uses some kind of dynamic difficulty system. It seems like no matter what the metaverse says the AI difficulty is after a few easy rounds I'll just get worked over by the AI for a match or two and then it'll calm back down.

I've noticed that the second to last opponent in a ladder is always the one that gives me the most trouble, regardless of who it is. The final opponent is usually a cake walk as a result.

My dad is Ed Boon. He said Black Lightning was always going to be the main character, but they wanted to advertise Raiden as they believed he'd have broader appeal, and was easily recognizable as a silhouette. They didn't anticipate how negative the reaction to two MK DLC characters would be.

Also, Thanos is going to be a premier skin for Darkseid.

So I went to see if I had access, and instead, I have his polygon model on the selection screen, which is unplayable, and all of the DLC characters as silhouettes. I figured they would have fixed this already.

I'm going to uninstall and reinstall and see what's up. I'll let you know if that works. I have a feeling that, even though it tells me there are no updates, the game hasn't been keeping up to date for whatever reason.

DC has been making Aquaman more and more like Namor over the years, which has resulted in him sucking less and less. That said, Namor is and will forever be the true king of Atlantis. Aquaman doesn't even have a catch phrase.
