I think the worst thing Danzo did was making the Root kids murder each other at the end of their training. Trying to kill Sasuke should have more than made up for that, ofc.

I really liked the resolution to the fight from last week. After years of Naruto it keeps surprising me that Sarada actually gets to do things and be just as strong or stronger than Bort and Mitsuki.

I enjoyed Sasuke's surprised reaction to Bort already knowing that friends are good. Also they stole all of poor Sarada's animation to give to Mitsuki. I don't think the Boruto anime is really beholden to the manga, though I suppose it kind of looks that way so far. Since it's monthly waiting for it to get ahead would be just ridiculous after the initial buffer it got from starting far earlier runs out.

Yeah there just aren't enough pages in a monthly manga for a cast that large. The anime has several times the amount of space to fill so it has side arcs for everyone

I guess the most important reveal in the chapter is that Eida's charm is just some kind of trick that can be overcome. Has anyone been affected by it without being in close physical proximity to her? If it's as simple as "magic pheromones" that would be funny.
