You can't pick up the other quests/loadouts until you shred the ones you have now. The only real change that isn't possible Right now is some mechanic for locking equipment before matchmaking finds a match (currently equipment locks when you start to zone in like in trials). Considering their interns built a Street fighter game out of the destiny engine for fun, I find it harder and harder to say something isn't possible. They just don't care

If you run 4 super mods + hyper beam + Geo mags + Bad Juju in PvP you can have a sick shutdown build where you can fire off your super 6+ times a match. Perfect for obliterating someone with a roaming super and then shutting it off with 1/3 of the bar left.
