I got gibbed by an investigator but (basic investigator mechanics) never generated notoriety because I was being boring early game and didn't see any cards popping into his magnet (although I wasn't looking closely). Do I just need to watch closer?

I'm behind this thread, I think, but I let out an actual real-world diabolical giggle when I realized that the Stag Gate provides an infinite supply of basically-safe midgame Knock influence. Go forth and conquer, my ghost buddies / gloopy grail whatsits / dudes made out of drumbeats

Ascension process spoiler for massive quality of life improvement: feeding reason to the periodic event doesn't consume reason, it just exhausts it, which should be utterly trivial at that point I actually get annoyed when I eat a prisoner, because they'd be better used for the Spider Door

Looks like it comes out at noon CST? I was hoping for midnight EST, but that might not be healthy for me.  Also for some reason I was thinking the ascensions were Heart and Winter. Obviously I'll be doing both, but Moth Exalts are probably superior in expedition terms. There'll always be a chance of failure for 10-power dudes to fail at destroying evidence, right? So you really, really don't want to send your precious Exalts there? That would make Heart more useful for cult business because mulching notoriety is always handy, even if it's perfectly safe. You advance the Heart path by dancing with Health (and the resulting scars) instead of Passion.
