There are so many circuit splits right now that even federal circuit courts are becoming unreliable sources of law.

I'm still convinced that Macron's solution to fixing France's problems was that immediately upon being elected, he decided, "How can I piss voters off as much as possible?" It sure seems like he wants to be as unpopular as possible. I guess I shouldn't be surprised since he's a neoliberal business shill on steroids, but at least pretend you care about working people.

So that's a bomb waiting to go off. Also I think I saw something that said the State GOP wants the State Police involved in the recount because of course. eke out posted:to clarify, "court costs" include a great deal of potential charges that come with litigating your case, but Amendment 4 mandates the state to allow voter registration "upon completion of all terms of sentence including parole or probation." Having Scott in the Senate now (with Rubio) and then also Governor ‘All My Friends are Racist’ really makes me loathe this state. Plus that Amendment passed that now requires a supermajority in the legislature to pass any tax increases. Our new trash Governor also gets to flip the State Supreme Court and the GOP will again get to do the redistricting in 2020. So it’s a pretty lovely time to live down here.
