apparently the takeaway i'm supposed to be getting is that sanctions and embargoes are the way for venezuela to finally get the humanitarian aid it deserves. or something. I've never heard of a country being returned to prosperity from humanitarian aid, and I don't see how crushing the economy into a fine powder after maduro's supposedly crushed it to pieces is supposed to help recovery but apparently there are big studies that show that totally annihilating a country economically is just a great way to recover from previous mismanagement
