My favorite thing in this is his safety math.

"I figure there's an 80% chance the crane will hold the truck up, and if that fails I figure there's a 20% chance the loader forks will hold the truck up, that's 100%!"

To be fair, I think in other videos he shows that container is just used to house a self supporting spiral staircase. But there's plenty of other sketchy stuff in that video, like him driving a track loader and a bulldozer simultaneously to drag that container up a hill.

So what's happening? Is he rubbing the wall? How does this make him faster?

The car is electric, rubbing against the wall produces enough static to give the car enough voltage to overtake the other cars.

OSHA-like question. When a large building is being built and it’s taking a long time because of its size, how normal is it for wildlife to settle in? Birds, skunks, squirrels, etc. Then, when “higher ups” refuse to trap the animals, how expected is it for the construction workers to kill said animals? And finally, how not OSHA-approved is it to just drywall over dead animals and all their droppings, or continue installing ceilings and electrical stuff when there’s inches of bird poop on the support beams?

animals do not like being around the people building and the loud noisy machines they bring. also when a building is going up, there aren't many cracks and crevices for animals to hide in, nor are there materials to build shelters out of or food to eat.

Dude is rad. I feel like this is just the natural evolution of combining a sulky (the little trailer for you to stand on) off a walk behind mower and the advent of powered wheel barrows. Although his looks home made and like it has scooter running gear. We were running sulkies years ago and their pretty common, both from manufactuterers and home made. It means you have to keep your brakes well mainted on your mower, and until you get good with them, it's easy to eat poo poo, but they are loving great.

I would call it a drott (because it has tracks, not wheels,)

I have always been interested in what people call compact loaders, the differences don't appear to be regional or have any pattern that I can tell. I grew up calling them skid steers, but in my area people call them skid loaders more often. I can understand people calling them bobcats, as that is a major manufacturer (and maybe the originators?), but I've never heard drott before. Drott appears to be an early full size tracked loader like cat's traxcavator, I'm curious how the name came to apply to tracked compact skid steers (but not wheeled skid steers?).

e ah, drott is english, which is maybe why I've never heard of it before.

e2 wait, no drott is from wisconsin.
