I've only watched the first episode so far and some thoughts about the end of the first episode:

The use of the phosphor dots to make up the late title sequence elements is a very cool nod to this all being trapped in a tv show.

Also from the notepad on the observers desk it is S.W.O.R.D. that is watching and maybe controlling things here isn't it?

It was also incredibly nice after 18 months to hear the Marvel Studios intro music at the start of something new again.

In episode two There's a guy in a beekeeper suit with a SWORD logo, so they're clearly involved.

She basically has to be, because when the Sword Beekeeper emerged from the sewers, after apparently bashing his way in to whatever's going on, she takes on a completely different stance/tone, like some deeper awareness was at work, refused to accept that something was going to disturb her new reality and just magics it away, rewinding time and adjusting things so that not only did the beekeeper not arrive, but that all the weirdness she'd noticed earlier in the day (i.e. color) was now normal. If this Vision isn't real, and I don't think he is, then I do wonder if their kids (presumably Speed and Wiccan) seen in the trailers will be real either. One would assume not, given the method of their inception, and speed of the pregnacy. It's magic though, so who knows. Or if they'll simply disappear after the reality is burst, rather than becoming a new element of the MCU going forward. And if they are, can Vision, already questioning what's going on, make himself a real boy by force of will. Or can Wanda keep Vision and/or the kids, while the rest fades.

My guess is that Wanda grabbed a partial copy of Vision from Wakanda and is trying to put him back together, and is in a coma-like state held by SWORD. Everything that is happening is happening inside her mind.

I looked up the actor earlier, beekeeper guy is credited to a stunt guy who's been on a bunch of MCU movies and shows.

I do wonder if the back-up Vision that Shuri was making in Infinity War has any part in this.

I 100% think Wanda remade Vision from that partial backup and her memories of him.

I'm wondering what's going on with Wanda & Pietro's childhood, now. They have started to bring a lot of attention to it, which is a weird thing to do if they wanted to just brush it aside and ask us not to question it too much. Any ideas who the guy with the skin condition is?

My impression is that skin condition orphan doesn't exist and Wanda was making him up to try to trick Pietro into claiming he remembered it.

So is Falcon not allowed to use guns anymore. or what? He used to shoot at people all the time, now he just outsources his kills to gravity/his murder drone?

Well there was that scene in Endgame where a bunch of kids wanted a selfie with Hulk but they didn't really give a poo poo about Ant Man when he mentioned who he was, and apparently didn't even recognise Steve Rogers or Natasha out of costume either. So I assume the core Avengers are hella famous in costume but outside of that they aren't really noticed or are mostly seen as glorified sidekicks.

Ant-Man wasn't an Avenger

I'm sure he'd have a whole legal team on retainer who could make those changes on the fly, or have adjusted his will beforehand to apply to all living Avengers after the Battle of New York where he was traumatized at facing his death. And I get that Falcon's sister didn't want a handout, but he should be set for life at this point; a bank doesn't just refuse based on income, they examine how much you're worth too.

Is there any confirmation yet where we know exactly when this takes place in relation to FFH? Presumably it's Endgame > WandaVision > then either FFH or FATWS, but I'm not sure which comes first. Both said it's been "a few months" since then, but you'd think people would know about the Hex and/or Mysterio's attacks in Europe by now.

FFH takes place 8 months after Endgame, so this is probably pre-FFH

It seems to me like the route they are going with Flag Smashers is that they stole the Super Soldier juice from the Power Broker, who will be the actual bad guy for this series. Guessing Power Broker will be connected to the Global Repatriation Council (who are backing new Captain America) which will turn out to be another Hydra plot.

Orphan Black did it incredibly and you should watch it when you have a chance

They knew that the fifth would be the last season before they started making that season and so had a pretty good ending.

To be clear, the quote is

quote:

WandaVision was supposed to come after this movie, which shifted some of the story and continuity, right? How did those changes work?

I’m not really sure what the WandaVision schedule was or how it changed. I just know that halfway, or maybe three-quarters of the way into our writing process, I’d first heard of this show they were doing and that we would have to follow it. Therefore, we had to really study what WandaVision was doing, so we could have a proper through line and character-growth dynamic. I never even saw all of WandaVision; I’ve just seen key moments of some episodes that I was told directly impact our storyline.
