That's the smart long-term play, but the Texans have to fight a pretty awful FA reputation following all of this. If they start replacing the free agents signed/players cap dumped on them for their best players with random PS players league wide, it might hurt them in 2-3 seasons when they'd want to play in the free agent market. Counterpoint that's a long time to rebuild trust in a league with 0 long term memory. I don't know how much I fault Houston for playing its signings. Maybe they could churn for a league average lineman somewhere if they try long enough

This isn't surprising but it is horrifying. The league has to see this as a monetary risk. How have they avoided taking action at all? I don't expect them to have anyone's safety at heart. I did expect any self-preservation instincts.
