just fired up alpha protocol and it booted right up. had to manually bring up the cursor and select gamepad from the settings, but after that this game, which has been delisted for years, ran flawlessly. no idea what all those needs hollering about flatpacks are talking about, but this thing is magic.

It's almost indistinguishable from the PS5 version or it running on my PC at a rock solid 60fps. It's honestly probably the top games I would use to show off the steam deck. this is the case for quite a few games. I have yet to install anything that required any amount of finagling to work and many of the ones I've tried have a little 🚫 next to their verified status

I picked up a stylus for point n click adventure games, but that idea fell apart pretty quickly. the only disappointing part of the deck, but the touchpads work well enough

you heard it here first. if you want to crack open your deck and install a 1 tb ssd you still need to buy the 512gb model because it's objectively the best one for everyone
