You can't rape and rob someone at gunpoint for their Indue card, you can only rape them at gunpoint. Based on a true story, which was frankly horrific. Tudge is still in cabinet, but doesn't have a portfolio, though no one has replaced him as Education Minister, except someone was filling him for him - who was a total idiot, except now apparently he was never the new Education Minister. Also, the investigated themselves and found Tudge did nothing wrong, though it's hard to say that with certainty as his ex-staffer wouldn't participate in the investigation as she didn't think they would investigate fairly. And even though they decided they did nothing wrong, they're paying her out half a million of tax payer money. If the LNP win with a scandal this big it's just a joke. A huge loving joke. I'll start dressing as a medieval knight and running under the gently caress Me Party, with the only policy being that they're already loving us anyway, so if you vote me in I'll just gently caress myself.

There is obviously a way forward here, however the last Opposition leader of WA was engaged to the editor of the West Australian newspaper, so there's obviously issues there with media bias. You should have seen the Mandurah Mail when he first got elected, the only news they published for months were puff pieces about him - including his wedding to his ex-wife. I did temp work for a while when I was younger, and one of the jobs was at a flower factory around mothers day. I was very excited to be on the flower assembly line when I rocked up that morning, but as I was the only guy who showed up from the temp agency all the women were sent to arrange flowers and they put me on the box assembly line which was two guys - one supervisor and one intellectually disabled man who was very nice but not at all talkative. For some reason the supervisor thought I was also disabled before I'd even said a word, because I guess everyone who got sent to put cardboard boxes together was disabled. I did wind up assembly every box they had for mothers day before lunch, and they sent me home early and said don't come back for the next 3 days as I'd done it all. The supervisor did apologize for treating me like I was disabled. It was altogether a very surreal and off putting experience. The guy they usually had doing boxes was on a very small fraction of what I'd been making that day. On the one hand, from the capitalists perspective - if someone is capable of a fraction of the work, give them a fraction of the pay. On the other hand, that is a very lovely perspective to take. It's not like they gave me 3 days worth of pay either. Strong reasoning for a UBI.
