As to retreating, no most people aren't accustomed to the Snap metagame and treat it like Hearthstone or Magic. Snap plays a lot like a casino card game ala poker in that you are (Should be) more concerned with your cube bankroll than whether you win any given hand, and against humans the game's real depth is in the snap mechanic.

Snapping/cubes are the underlying genius of the game, it tickles the brain just like real gambling.

Lol no you should just snap on turn one every game. Well the exception is when you forgot to snap in which case you snap then.

I got like my last 20 ranks with this. Gamora could very well be Spider Women, or another 5. Medusa could probably be Mister Sinister. Yondu is nice for the knowledge of your opponents deck but probably could be something else.

It didn't actually happen everyone involved knew what was being said. I am so sick of games (and more broadly hobbies) making things more difficult to outsiders by having their own lexicon. It's like just having people learn this poo poo is an important part of getting people hooked to their game. I'm sure if asked they'd say it's more "immersive" but I think it's more than that. Anyway it doesn't matter, me not using infinite in this case isn't going to change anything besides making myself feel ever so slightly better.

It's good but you don't always have the mana/board to use both. It's also competing with Hulk/Gamora for turn 6 plays. Earlier you probably will not have the board to benefit much from Nova.

I think two things are best for ranking up. Knowing when you've lost by understanding what your opponent is likely to play and using cards that give big swings. Killmonger, Shang Chi, Enchantress can royally gently caress over a deck that thinks it's won which means more cubes. It's not so much about having the best win rate deck as it is about getting your opponents to snap when they probably shouldn't. I'm confident I will win over 50% of games so I snap on turn one. By the time they snap the game is pretty obviously decided and I can retreat for 2 or hit them with the Killmonger they don't know about for 8. I'm not always right, but people aren't exactly creative. Everything is ongoing? Onslaught/Spectrum. Move cards? Heimdal. Played Moon Girl? Devil Dinosaurs. Discard cards? Apocalypse.

Oh yeah make that three things, time, it's going to be a grind.

I was arguing in beta that Omega was a better split name than Legendary, and further that since the cards were all identical rarity outside pools even calling them "Common" etc was a bit daft. This was way back in Season 1 when Ultra was still the (frankly absurd) Ultra-Legendary.

A guilty pleasure of mine is trashy web comics and so we should use those for our power rating. Stuff like Heavenly Realm or perhaps letter ratings. 1. Opt in. Why'd you opt in?
2. Lol game delay is a problem? I assume you're for a faster timer than. I am the timer is too slow and I'm not sure I like Daredevil because it slows the game down. You could have it be a system where it only works if both people opt in.
3. Nah the wow we both played the it's just pretty dumb and I can't be bothered to do it. Probably because emoting takes longer than typing would. I've got a keyboard so typing doesn't take much effort.

Anyway the bluffing part of the game would be more interesting if it had chat. "I am playing killmonger next turn" *snaps* is a lot more interesting than the board being in a state where your opponent is way ahead and they snap. Whatever I just don't like emotes, I just find them worse than chat. Like that's not saying chat is a wonderful wonderland of videogame camaraderie it's just that I find "gg" better than "thumbs up emote". It probably goes nothing > chat > emotes. If people want to chat who am I to say they can't. I'd try it, see how it is, probably not use it except some sort of private games that don't exist yet.

Now an argument I could get behind is "oh somebody who doesn't know how bad the internet is will enable chat and be abused". Nobody made that argument. They sucked in Hearthstone, they suck here. Nobody else seems to think emotes suck though so whatever.
