Infinite scroll sucks. Ecommerce sites that don't have a show all. Ecommerce sites that show every single color of something as separate entries.

edit: In theory I think designing a website for phone use and giving that website to phone users is a fine idea, in practice holy poo poo it's like a competition in sucking. Not a fan of websites that has tons of empty space because you couldn't be assed to have more than one so you just designed one for the phone and said good enough. The websites that do that will also probably "helpfully" tell me about how rad their app is.

I like how some ecommerce sites don't list what I bought in the emails they sent me. Hey fuckwits I might want to reference that information later. Also stop emailing me so drat much. Just one, if I pay with paypal I want 2, one from paypal, one from you. I want to know my order went through, what I ordered and the tracking. What I don't want is one email to tell me I ordered, one for it being shipped, one for it being delivered, one for your lovely newsletter that I did not intend to sign up for, one to review the product, another to review the product. Sometimes I even get the review email before I get the item. So even if you do tell me what items I bought, it's buried in many emails that do not.

It's been a real long time since I've used Usenet so maybe it got better but it used to be a huge PITA. Searching for anything was an annoyance and it was super common for files to be incomplete. Torrents aren't ideal but at least it's usually just the one movie file and not 60000 rar files oh and 3 are missing so it won't unrar.

Yeah old usenet is pretty much a completely different beast from modern usenet. Instead of .torrent you're downloading .nzb instead of trackers they're indexers, instead of paying for vpn and maybe a seedbox, you're paying for a newsgroup/private indexers. Big named popular shows will get taken down, but they get uploaded frequently enough and have enough indexers that if you're using a download file manager such as Sonarr/Radarr it'll catch it.

The applications deal with checking and finding a new nbz if the one you have has missing chunks on the newsgroup you're using.
