I've mentioned this before, why not just pay people and do long term studies? You would have better demographic data, people would have less incentive to lie to you and you could ask more nuanced questions. Voters are not random samples, why should polling be? I read a recent Newsweek article with a poll saying that more people thought Trump had a more successful 1st term than Biden. I just keep thinking, do they assholes not remember covid? In 2020, so many people died and the US economy was in rough shape. Trumpers also always bring up how great the economy was doing, but they don't seem to realize it got that way because of Obama. He had to fix everything.

I get the freaking out over polls, I mean it's not like they were way off in 2016 or 2020, though its probably valid to say they don't mean anything before the conventions pollsters do work very hard to get good representative samples (at least the good ones do), the problem is that ultimately there really are a lot of Ken Bones out there who just go whichever way the wind has been drifting, seems like between emails/general dislike of Hillary/"give him a shot" that went Trump's way in '16, fortunately it's gone the Dems way in pretty much every election since. even if the actual sentence is light I can't imagine being a convicted felon is gonna help him much

So did Trump or one of his acolytes go off on COVID vaccines lately? Because man has there be a lot of that antivax trash popping up. The chuds just have no idea of the scale of the COVID vaccine program, and how it completely blows up every narrative they have. I mean, 13,000,000,000 doses have been given worldwide. If there was something even remotely wrong that could be traced back, you'd have a hundred million people affected, even at under one per cent. Imagine something openly giving blood clots and heart attacks to a third of the population of the U.S. and the CDC just shrugging its shoulders. Methinks that would be rather hard to ignore. But when you don't have the mental acuity to understand vaccines in the first place, trying to understand the scale of a number with nine zeros after it is going to be rather difficult, too, I imagine.
