LtKenFrankenstein posted:I find most 'posters' in this style pretty stupid and obnoxious, but this one really takes the cake. I wouldn't mind so much, but the image it inaccurately evokes isn't even from that version of Frankenstein.

Der Shovel posted:One of the biggest lost opportunities I can remember is when they made a 30 Rock porn parody. Predictably it was called "THIS AIN'T 30 ROCK: A XXX PARODY" or something lame like that, when it could have been called XXX Rock. They should have called it Dirty Cock.

They're really playing up the imagery of Spider-Man being intrinsically linked to New York city in those posters. I like it.

Dissapointed Owl posted:Why? Because it's night now? I would definitely say that the imagery is stronger now. Look at the way the streets curve around him in that second one. You can't tell me that's not effective.

Dissapointed Owl posted:I guess. I'm still not that taken with them. They're about as good as you can expect a Spiderman movie poster to be (?) I admit they're not as good as the spider shadow one we got a few months back, that was a new direction while this is a more effective approach to what has already been done.
