Why yes, that is an Accordamino.

Aside from the bad spoilers and bad stripes, it was very cleanly done.

I saw a totally chromed PT Prowler yesterday, but didn't have a chance to take a picture. It was gone when I came back the other way.

So, cool story I guess.

I'm pretty sure Tesla underreports their 0-60 times too, my buddy has a Performance S and it absolutely leaves my E92 M3 for dead despite having an on-paper time (3.9) that's "just" a half second quicker to 60.

A guy at my office used to daily drive one. It's a weird looking car in person. I never once saw him drive it with the roof down even though it's permanently 75 degrees and not-raining here.

Just another boring day in the 2 minute drive from my house to the 101 this morning:

Not pictured at the same shop: A marine-green Veyron, silver Porsche Carerra GT, black on black Viper T/A, whatever is next to the Pagani (I had a bit of target fixation I'm afraid), and a 'frozen white' competition package E92 M3.

My sad-rear end 100% bone stock 20k mile Space Gray M3 was the shittiest car in the lot.

This is wonderful and great and stuff but it's basically a show car. Like, would you actually want to thrash that on a real road in real life if you had one? Imagine that engine bay coated in filth and that carpet covered in dirty footprints and that beautiful paint covered in chips. You can't use it so what's it for?

Do you live inside of a muck plant? Because I'm able to drive my Not-a-Singer car (with gusto) and not have any of these things happen, and if I had a disposable $5000 a year for detailing money like a Singer owner would, my show car (8 year old daily driver) would probably look even cleaner.

The Singer is a race car that is meant to be rebuilt as required, so why not drive it like it's meant to be used and worry about your paint chip bill when it becomes an issue. You can always take a mortgage on the second yacht if a respray's cost is too daunting.

Sunday - fresh and crisp but not so crisp you're not out carrying a load of car parts & a ryder wagon in your blown '55 Ford while some unrelated guy goes by on a $100k chopper

Yeah, I don't recall him ever really bashing anyone who's been kind enough to let him thrash their car, he might say 'Well ho ho ho, yes, that's not bad for a 1989 Taurus I guess, but this car is still pretty fun!" or whatever

He's probably one of the best reviewers currently IMHO, it doesn't hurt that he drives the canyon roads I'm pretty familiar with so that might make me more of a natural fan of it due to the familiarity, but now that Chris Harris is no longer doing his reviews, I think Farah is probably about tops for straight info and interesting driving/talent. Doesn't strike me at all as if he thinks he's a celebrity/youtube superstar or whatever, it's just fun to be recognized when you're a Q-list seminobody, so who can blame a person for enjoying that. Actual celebs like it best when you act like they're just people, and on the flip side there are few things that are better than snubbing some celeb who's looking around hoping someone notices them. (Gene Simmons)

And the whole "I totally use and love this product" lie to sell advertising has been sort of a deal with broadcasting since at least the advent of radio, listen to any classic radio drama and there'll be a Chesterfield cigarette commercial right in the middle of the story.
