I'm not sure what the activation case for it is, I've had it work on ottd chainpushes but more complicated ones to surf I've had it not turn on. Yeah, Cyanide is all sorts of hosed up with sidestep on chain pushes. I've surfed my own side-step dudes because of it =/

Also depends entirely on the TV for bashing. Don't worry too much about your first team. Unless you are a blood bowl savant you will do silly things and they'll die and you'll give them silly skills. Once you learn the ropes you'll have a much better idea which team is for you and you'll want to start over anyhow.

I think that's part of the problem with blood bowl leagues. You get people who want to play Serious Business to win, and you get people who want to play fun and/or gimmick teams, but the two types of players rarely enjoy games against each other. I know I stall a bit, but I just can't bring myself to embrace the 2-1 grind because I think it's tedious as gently caress. I would much rather have giant fights for the ball and crazy plays. I think I even conceded the last serious game I played because I just didn't have the patience for it.

Yeah, there is no hard cap. Spiraling expenses make a pretty good soft cap about the time you hit 2200 or so. Personally I have a 3100TV goblin team.

Most serious players will try to manage their TV to some degree. With Norse I fire all non double linos and drop to two rerolls as soon as my thrower gets leader. But that may just be because I'm a sperg.

Norse and Amazon are bad teams at 2000+ TV, sure. But by that measure anything that's not chaos basically loses out. Saying they're bad because Norse only wreck faces up to 1500 is dumb and misses the point of a game aimed for limited duration leagues.
