I'm kind of confused now. That thing on Yasuho's face just went away? And is it my imagination or does everyone look like Joushuu now?

It's probably a contact point for Tsurugi's stand, though, because Jousuke's foot went all wonky when he stepped on the origami cicada. And yes, Yasuho and Jousuke will now see everybody except Tsurugi with the same face.

Maybe I should've phrased that better. I knew it was the stand's effect, I just thought it was Joushuu's face in particular. (For a stand called "Lovestruck", that would actually be pretty funny.)

Edit: Geez, I'm dense.

Except that you see Cioccolata and Secco openly talking about BIG (trying to figure out if it counts as something dead) even though they would have no reason to ever have seen it in action. Someone knew how his power worked, or else he wouldn't have acted the way he did on the airstrip.

Crazy Diamond -> Shining Diamond
Killer Queen -> Deadly Queen
Stray Cat -> Feral Cat
Gold Experience -> Golden Wind
Beach Boy -> Fisher Man
Stone Free -> Stone Ocean
Pucci -> Pucchi (this one might not be a change. I don't know what the official English spelling Araki chose was)

Characters that use their official names that fans rarely use are Wamuu, Esidisi, Kars, and Ermes Costello.

Crazy on, you Shining Diamond. :downs:

Not necessarily! It would probably be relatively simple for him to tell the Joestar crew that he was being threatened and wants to help them take down Dio after all and put the blame for Abdul on J. Geil. (Or perhaps they're just going to drop the "Abdul dies" angle since he comes back anyway.) He attempts to sell them out but Enya is like "gently caress you, I'll feed you your own balls" and he has to actually cooperate with them to save his own rear end. Story resumes more or less normal track when they hit that guy with the Lovers.

But if they drop Abdul's "first" death, how do they set up Judgment?

I think Namco is expecting this to be a niche title that they're already going to make a small profit on in the west. I doubt they would want to have to get into lawsuit over any song name and completely eliminate whatever profits they're making.

To be fair, they probably don't expect anyone who's not a Jojo's fan to get this anyway, so they might as well just change the names to whatever since we'll know what they're supposed to be anyway.

Hobgoblin2099 posted:

It seems to work two ways over the course of the manga.

1. Originally, Bites the Dust attaches itself to Hayato, which causes Killer Queen to no longer be summonable by Kira unless he retracts it. For as long as Kira leaves Killer Queen on a non-Stand using target, anyone who gets information about his identity from that target is blown up and killed. Time is then reset to the morning of that day/time of the implant of Bites the Dust(?). Any deaths that occurred before the reset are destined to happen and cannot be prevented even if the person Bites the Dust is attached to does things differently. The only way to prevent these deaths would be to have Kira withdraw Killer Queen from whomever he has implanted it into, canceling out Bites the Dust's effect. Additionally, only the person that Killer Queen is attached to retains memories of before the reset.

2. Kira can implant Bites the Dust in himself and tell everyone who he is, blowing them up and sending him back in time. He retains his memories of before the reset.

ASB seems to combine both of these aspects of his skill.

The time rewind is about one hour prior to the triggering.
