While we're on E.Ryu, why does Daigo always go for the LP DP > HP DP juggle ender in the corner? I remember testing it out in training mode and simply ending in HP DP does more damage and stun.

^ it depends on the range, if you do it some seth bnbs: cr.lk, cr.lp, cr.mp xx mk lightning legs (easy hit confirm bnb, sometimes you can add in an extra cr.lp) cr.lp, cl.hp xx hk lightning legs (more dmg) cr.mp, cl.hp xx hk lightning legs (new for USF4, works only after tandem) and if you land any version of lightning legs in the corner, go into his toe taps x3 + dive kick, which sets you up for another mixup sometimes you may want to cancel into DP instead of legs, depending on the situation Fauxtool posted:you can use the EX to go through fireballs at mid range. this also applies to his EX lightning legs : ) jebeebus fucked around with this message at 04:47 on Nov 22, 2014 |

i think there was a vid explaining how that specific combo or chain cancelling is bugged and harder than it actually should be, but you shouldn't be using it anyways because that combo has become obsolete since AE instead go for: cr.lk, cr.lp, cr.mp xx hk spiral (2f link) cr.lk, cr.lp, cr.mk xx hk spiral (1f link, for situations when the cr.mp wont reach) on the few characters where the hk spiral only hits once, you want to use mk spiral instead for optimized dmg edit: here is said video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8fhpT1UFv4 but again, shouldn't matter unless you're playing Super Cammy in edition select jebeebus fucked around with this message at 18:00 on Nov 23, 2014 |

i've always hated SF4's art direction from day 1 with their goofy rear end faces and oversaturated colors everywhere, so SF5 already looks like a huge improvement to me, and i'm just letting the fact that it's in super alpha stages right now keep me from saying much more SF4's music is also terrible

i mean the dislocated jaws and eyeballs poppin' out during ultras and poo poo are definitely funny and all, but i just don't like the overall aesthetic of the game and the progressively stupider costumes weren't helping...
