California's fascination with banning anything tobacco related quickly that somehow is always the products that poor people or people of color use is interesting. That and all the "can't smoke x distance from such" laws, or even entire cities like Nevada City, which leads to the laws being ignored. Unless you are a minority, if you ignore those laws as a minority, you will get all the punishments on the law and whatever other things they added. As idiotic as NYC making cigarettes expensive as hell and a rich people only thing but I guess the person blasting me with smoke in Manhattan will be some rich trader rear end in a top hat instead of someone poor?

The high merv filters I keep taking out of the hvac are carbon black, and only really open the door to go in or out, but running air extraction now and then so we don't suffocate seems to bring in some interesting smells.

Kaiser misdiagnosed my grandmother in-law cancer as "just some pain don't worry" in various x-rays and ct scans. Only when it got too bad and was discovered on another place as having spread to whole body they decided to... send her to another hospital. She died, and they been trying to stop my in-law parents from suing because of "binding arbitration" even though it doesn't apply to them as the one dead was the one that signed the binding arbitration. there is plenty of empty land in central valley that isn't used for agriculture and empty land in the bay area, worthless land enviromentally too which you won't be doing any damage by building a tall apartment building on it, however if you try that you will quickly find out that the only thing you will be building will be a massive pile of legal fees to fight lawsuits before you set first stone.

dejoy is making a top notch job at making usps worse than fedex ground, the few times I have sent things over the past year sending it over usps takes always longer and costs more now somehow than ups. Letters are taking 2-3 weeks to arrive lmao I dread when I buy something online and shows a usps tracking code now, as it will take forever, gently caress you Biden for not firing the board, the cvountry I come from this is similar how they ended up privatizing the postal service, make it so horrible and expensive that people don't even notice when it gets privatized.
