question: friend of mine bought NHL15 the other day, digitally, and downloaded it. the game is completely broken. Everything is laggy and choppy. The EA logo at the starts is choppy, menus are choppy, sound falls in and out, the game itself is completely unplayable with over a second between frames. Tried deleting and redownloading again. tried restoring licenses. restarting the machine. going offline. downloaded another game digitally, which worked fine. It's only that game that's broken, everything else works fine. Anyone know anything about this? Google doesn't give much help, mostly people complaining about online lag. I guess all he can do is ask for a refund?

Maybe they've fixed that effect too though. some guy in a youtube video played with the new controls, and changed back to tank controls fairly early. Apparently, the game just works better with tank controls. The first DMC handled that pretty well, when you changed screens you kept moving in the same direction until you moved the analouge stick

I adjusted the difficulty to Hard, thinking that would help but it's made no real difference other than maybe requiring me to hold down X for a longer period of time. D3 is really easy. You can easily start the game on the third difficulty setting with no problems and then go from there. All the enemies scale depending on settings. When it gets harder you'll have to use a bit more tactics. but it's still a very basic game, all built around grinding for levels and loot. In my opiniong barbarian is the most boring class, it'll alway be just running up to an enemy and hitting them.

i didn't like demons souls because you die a lot and have to replay areas over and over without making any progress. Pass. The annoying thing is I can actually recognize there being a good game there somewhere, just not for me.

the level design in blooborne is absolutely astounding. Having fun with it, despite some of the weird desing decisions. Oh, and they could have thrown in a map, but iguess that is part of the charm. E: how does it compare to DS2? might want to pick that up in the future, but I tried Demons souls years ago and didn't like it.
