The music actually changes up depending on your health and how many enemies are in the room, I found it pretty neat. I'm digging the music as a whole, too.

Note that also the game has had as much as 65k concurrent players so what you might be seeing as "lots of people having these issues" is more likely just "a handful of really vocal people having the issue."

e: oh, does it even list a dedicated graphics card as a minimum requirement? well, there goes your argument for "I wasn't warned before release!!"

If nobody clicked on this link, apparently dying in the sacrifice room while holding the missing poster or mysterious page items gives you a puzzle piece icon at the death screen, and collecting all the puzzle pieces together might lead to something big (possibly unlocking the lost?). Anyone interested should really head over there and contribute to solving!

Generally with big puzzles like this people work together socially to try to solve them. No, one single person wasn't meant to do every part of the puzzle themselves and you're right that it'd be stupid to assume so -- and that's why it's dumb that someone hacked the game to do it themselves instead of people working together socially and naturally.

It's weird, usually when people talk about stuff like this there isn't so much hostility about secrets in video games. I don't get it!

It's the hardest character to beat the game with, as you die in one hit. Items that boost HP and soul/eternal/dark hearts don't do anything. Beating all the things in the game with the lost on hard is the hardest thing to do in the game.

Returning to the game standing on top of an item is really bad. Standing on top of an item you know is about to spawn and have ample time to move away from as the boss is dying is your fault.

That's also what the people you're arguing against - including the person you quoted - are talking about.

Protip: Go to documents/my games/binding of isaac rebirth/options.ini and set "max scale" from 99 down to 3 or 2. That lets you limit how far the game's graphics scale up to like so:



That's with a limit of 2. If you're in a small room the UI doesn't overlap the floor anymore and if you're in a large room you can see much more than you could before. Enjoy!

apparently that guy did the programming but none of the actual game design because all the changes in those videos he's posted look incredibly unfun

I uninstalled vanilla when rebirth came out and I'm definitely not reinstalling for that poo poo

I like both sets of music and would enjoy a mod that puts both soundtracks together. I feel that the really good tracks of the new OST are all in the super late game areas, though, which means it doesn't set as immediate of a good impression that the old OST did.
