Demographics mean a Republican Party wedded to white nationalism dies very soon unless the military just takes over for them (or unless white Hispanics very quickly decide they're white and don't give a poo poo how badly people treat other Hispanics). The problem there is that the Republicans have basically made themselves into the white nationalists party. If they try to make the steps to be less racist, they get eaten alive by the angry white men that comprise so much of their base.
